Ferragudo
A charming fishing village, set by river Arade with beautiful views of the bay and the town of Portimao. Visit Ferragudo to enjoy a walk through the cute, colorful streets in the old town. Treat yourself to a grilled fish and seafood lunch at the harbor and end your day by the beach.
Silves
Silves is a beautiful historic and medieval town with a great many sights. Wander around the old town to discover the cathedral, castle, and a town square that dates back to the Moorish-ear. Don't forget to visit our favorite spot, café DaRosa to enjoy local treats.
Winetasting
Morgado do Quintão is one of the oldest vineyards in the Algarve and focuses exclusively on growing premium wines. It is a beautiful rustic farmyard surrounded by wines. Their wine tasting includes 3-4 different wines, delicious tapas, and interesting facts about the area and wine in general.
Praia da Marinha & Benagil caves
One of the most popular sights in the Algarve is the Benagil caves. An impressive dome-looking cave with a round hole at the top. You can visit the caves by kayak, stand-up paddle or a boat tour. While you are in the area, make sure to pass by Praia da Marinha, one of Algarve's iconic beaches.
Lagos
Slightly further away is Lagos, a vibrant and bustling town with cute streets, shops, churches, restaurants, and a port. The most popular sight in Lagos is Ponta de Piedade, a stunning place with impressive rock formations and caves.
